FIVE PEOPLE HAVE BEEN CHARGED AFTER A MISSING JUVENILE WAS FOUND SAFE IN GRAYSON COUNTY. THE LEITCHFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THAT 14 YEAR OLD SHAUNTAY SANDLIN WAS LOCATED ON JANUARY 20 AFTER SHE HAD BEEN REPORTED MISSING THE DAY BEFORE. GREGORY COTTRELL, JUSTIN VIGIL, MICHAEL HALL, AND TWO JUVENILES HAVE BEEN CHARGED IN THE CASE. NO OTHER DETAILS HAVE BEEN RELEASED AT THIS TIME.

HARDIN COUNTY SCHOOLS WILL BE OPEN ON PRESIDENTS DAY. THE CHANGE IS TO MAKE UP A SNOW DAY. THE LAST DAY FOR SCHOOL CURRENTLY IS JUNE 3.

THE KENTUCKY TRANSPORTATION CABINET IS ADVISING MOTORISTS OF WORK THAT IS SET TO TAKE PLACE THIS MORNING. OFFICIALS SAY UTILITY WORK WILL TAKE PLACE ON 31W BEGINNING AT 9AM THIS MORNING. TRAFFIC BETWEEN SUNSET ROAD AND NORTH MANTLE AVENUE WILL BE AFFECTED. TRAFFIC MAY BE SLOW MOVING OR STOPPED DURING THE PROCESS.
