The man charged with shooting four people in Elizabethtown has been formally charged. 35 year old Shadrach Peeler was indicted by the Hardin County Grand Jury Thursday.

Hardin Memorial Health Medical Group has a new location in Larue County. The 145 Lincoln Drive location had a grand opening on Thursday and will be open to the public on Monday, March 4th.

The penguin plunge takes place tomorrow in Elizabethtown tomorrow at 12, noon. This event raises money for junior achievement and will be located at the Ring Road Location of bluegrass cellular.

A series of three Hardin County Bridge Projects are now complete. These projects were part of the Bridging Kentucky Program which is aimed at replacing or repairing structures in critical need of attention across the state.

An amended version of the School Safety and Resiliency Act is headed back to the Senate for consideration, as the House voted 96-3 to approve it this week. The legislation sets a state goal of providing more trained law enforcement and school counselors in schools, while also creating a statewide school security marshal and requiring more active shooter and suicide prevention training, among numerous other items.
